Tours, France

We were enroute to Germany from Rennes,
France.
During a strafing by U.S. fighters we broke out of the cars and made
for the woods, running into an outer ring of guards and seeing we couldn't
get thru we returned – DeVay was caught, brought back to the train and was
shot along with three men of other nationalitys [sic].
