POSTCARDS MADE FROM DRAWINGS IN NORTHERN IRELAND 1944


The Honeycomb. Wishing Chair in mound.

   "The Giant's Causeway" id the name given to a rock formation on the northeast coast of Northern Ireland.
   On a clear day one can see the coast of Scotland.
   The rocky formation stretches below the water from coast to coast, and legend has it giants used it to wade across.

   "The Mound" is made up of hexagon shaped-rocks and all orations are about one foot across and varies in height from a few inches to a few feet.

The Wishing Well

   "The Wishing Well" is located on one side of the mound and has sweet waiter only a few yards from the ea.  One may take a sip of water, make a wish and it will come true.

Giant's Gate

   "The Giant's gate" is at the entrance to the other formations.
