Buckles, Bullets and Baubles
American parachute buckles, a 1942 French 20 cent aluminum coin, German machine-gun rounds.  Ken never knows what he will find next in his garden

On The Beach
a quiet stroll along Utah Beach in November 2010 yielded this newly exposed bomb

Bomb Disposal
a call to the gendarmerie resulted in this officer documenting the find before it was taken away for destruction

Less Dangerous But Still Exciting
a portion of a china plate washed ashore from a sunken American ship off Utah beach.  Note the logo of Shenango China, Newcastle, PA. The  company started in 1901 and was sold to Anchor Hocking in 1991.
