Corcoran Boots
with crepe soles are a rare version of paratrooper boots

This M-43 Jump jacket was worn by Richard K. Yardley.
   Lewis bought the jacket from Mr. Yardley at a militaria show ca. 2000,  The photograph at left shows Mr. Yardley holding it at the time of purchase..
   The photograph on right shows Mr. Yardley's 508th PIR membership card laid on the pocket of the jump jacket. Note the signature of O. B. Hill on the card.
Screaming Eagles
Uniform worn by Pfc V. Luna of Company D, 506th PIR.
   It is considered unusual due to the eagle's white tongue rather than the red color normally employed  (see close-up at right).

All American
... and all felt, an unusual material for this patch

Red Devils
with sterling silver wings manufactured by Ludlow, London.  Numerous companies produced these.  This set undoubtedly purchased after the troops arrived in England.
