The focus during the past two weeks was on executing Block Leave from 16 JUN - 04 JUL, and preparing for the D-90 conference and Leaders Training Program (LTP) 05 JUL-14 JUL.

Throughout block leave, 1-508th PIR continued their pursuit of excellence in physical fitness through company-led PT sessions.

Rear Detachment was able to move 8 vehicles through the CS-17 site. Two of these vehicles were SNEs that had completed their integration at the WIN-T Site.

5. Small Unit Tactics.

6. Mastery of Maintenance.

Throughout block leave the 1-508 team continued to receive parts, developed plans for maintenance sta D down and prepped paperwork for excess property turn in to DLA on 06 JUL. As of this report 4 x excess pieces of rolling stock have been accepted by DLA today.

School Updates.

We currently have 41 Jumpmasters, with seven Paratroopers awaiting PWAC.

GRF Operations.

1-508 PIR is now the GRB3.

WIN TOMORROW’S FIGHT

C/1-508 PIR continues coordination’s for their new equipment fielding and continues to plan for training exercises that will incorporate the new systems in preparation for the BCT JOAX.

PARATROOPERS FOR LIFE

1-508 PIR Paratroopers had the opportunity to reconnect and share their experiences with their family, friends, and numerous others over the Block Leave period.

NEXT TWO WEEKS

Over the next two weeks, 1-508 PIR’s focus will be on LTP execution and preparation for the BCT JOAX while continuing to support and field CS-17 equipment.
