Sunday has be1:n set aside as a day of Worship. Even during the most bitter fighting of the War, time was taken each Sunday to give thanks to GOD. Those of the Catholic faith will assemble in the officers mess Sunday morning at 0930. At 1000 the Protestants will meet in the officers mess for a Service,

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO DO?
If you a one of those men who are looking for some way to pass the time, we suggest you go to the game room, Hatch #2. There you can obtain softballs to play catch on topside or boxing gloves to try your pugilistic abilities. There are also numerous other small games available. The Library in Room 18 also offers reading material of a wide scope. While at the library, Arrival Telegrams of the "fixed text type" can be filled out and turned in.

WIFE CHARGES CRUELTY:
Mrs. Bernar [sic] McFadden testified in a Fla. divorce mill yesterday that her millionaire husband practiced extreme cruelty both to herself and daughter. It seems the famed publisher and advertiser of the "body beautiful" insisted that Mrs. McFadden do a certain number of 'push ups' each day. She also charged that her eccentric spouse insisted upon dipping their three day old daughter in a bath of cold water.

indicates that the date of confinement is less than 380 days after the discharge or promotion of the husband to one of the top three pay grades. In addition, an infant under one year of age whose father during the prenatal life or first year of life was in one of the lowest four pay grades, is entitled to infant care during the first year of life or any remaining portion. The criterion or infant care is that the date of birth is within 280 days after discharge or promotion of the husband. Applications for EMIC is made to the State Department of Health of the state of residence at the time application is made. Application forms are available at Red Cross offices, physicians offices or [personal affairs offices at all Army posts. This care for the wives and infants of men of the eligible pay grades is available as a matter of right regardless of financia1 condition or need. No financial investigation is ever made.

AMERICAN NURSE DEGLAMORIZED GI'S:
Speaking in Saturdays ETO edition of the Stars and Stripes, a member of the Army Nurse Corps branded the American Soldier as a lowsy lover. Said the "Joe has too many foreign pushovers. When he gets home, he will find that to an American girl, he is just an outmoded jitterbug with nothing to offer but stick of gum and a candy bar. These items re still available in the states for a nickel apiece.

ATOMIC CONTROL:
The U. S, Senate recently set up a new committee. The purpose of which is to determine effective measures for the control of Atomic Energy. In the same line, Canada and the Union of South Africa have already taken over all uranium deposits within their borders. These two Dominions are the Chief sources of uranium 235 the basic power in the atomic bomb.

CABINET HEADS HIT OIL STRIKE:
Speaking to the press this morning, both Secretary of Labor Schwellenbach, and Secretary of the Interior Ickes attacked the oil workers union strike which was authorized. "If this strike continues another week", they said, "The security of the Army and Navy will be seriously threatened". The threat to civilian transport is already effective. 600,000 civilian vehicles are grounded for lack of gas.

PATTON ENROUTE TO IKES CARPET:
Lt. Genl. Geo. E. Patton and his staff were on the road to Eisenhowers Hqs this morning. Patton has questions to answer in the denazificiation of Bavaria.
