Helen Draxler Wed
To George Christ, Jr.

   Helen Draxler, daughter of Mrs.. Luise Draxler of Brooklyn was married Sunday, December 18th [1955] to George E. Christ, Jr. of New Hyde Park.
   The wedding took place in the First Reformed Church of New Hyde park at 3:00 P.M. with the Reverend Charles T. Botkin officiating.
   The bride, who was given away by her Uncle Vincent Garcia of New Hyde Park, was dressed in ivory satin and attendants dressed in pink velveteen were Mrs. Andrew Wulforst, Matron

 

of Honor and flower girls, Pamela Wieser of Garden City and Andrea Wulforst of New Hyde Park.
   Carl Christ served as best man for his brother. Ushers were Richard Draxler, brother of the bride and Charles Cross of Huntington.
   Mrs. Christ is a graduate of Vienna University and also attended Adelphi College.  Her husband is the well known Village Trustee of New Hyde Park.
   A reception was held following the wedding at Nassau Inn.

George Christ (center) hit 70 and was honored at a part held on July 29, 1995 in New Hyde Park, NY.  At left is Bill Biagioni and Irv Shanley stands at right. All were in Hq 2nd.
