John Hardie and Darrell Glass, 1981.
Darrell says: "John was sort of my mentor when I first got into Co C of 508 P.I.R.  He was Squad leader of the squad I was assigned to, and being a corporal at the time I was his assistant squad leader.  I knew virtually nothing about being an assistant squad leader at the time so he was great help to me, hence we developed a friendship which was second to none."
