Angel Romero Received Overdue Recognition
December 17, 2010 as he was presented awards and decorations his WW-II service.
   Credited with two combat parachute jumps into Normandy and Holland, Romero saw additional combat duty in the Ardennes through his involvement in the "Battle of the Bulge" and also participated in the advance across Central Europe (Germany).
  Above, Angel receives the Purple Heart Medal for wounds suffered on three occasions, 14 June 44, 23 Sep 44 and 7 Jan 45.
