Karine's Letter
this student's letter was written after her visit to the grave

John

I do not know if you hear me or not, but know that I admire you and I appreciate you without knowing you personally.

I do not know if you actually wanted to become a soldier, in any case, you have been very brave to commit yourself to be a paratrooper.

The [message] to my humble letter is that you [were?] unfortunately too young, but defended my country and for that, I appreciate it. And for the freedom that you have defended I say, "
thank you."

Karine [Marine?]
