The Double D, 31st Infantry "Dixie Division" had presence at Blanding training replacements for over a year.

36th Infantry Division The :Old Hickory" unit earned an incredible seven battle stars for its efforts in Italy, France and Germany
 		 43rd Infantry Division served throughout the Pacific including Guadalcanal
 
63rd Infantry Division came into the fray after Normandy and earned three battle stars
 		 66th Infantry Division trained here late in 1943 and served only in Northern France
 		 79th Infantry Division claims five battle stars for its efforts in Europe, beginning with Normandy
