1800 hour --- Truck taking supplies to 2d Bn shot up by enemy. Supplies were not gotten from the truck. Capt King was wounded in this action, evacuated.
1855 hour --- M/6 to CO. The blue CP established at 307947.
1859 hour --- M/7 to 2d Bn. Send identification on all prisoners --- S-2.
1900 hour --- Plans to take new supplies to 2d Bn as soon as they can be loaded.
1930 hour --- Cp in contact with 2d Bn and the Div. Emergency station by radio.
2000 hour --- Capt Johnson in from beachhead.
2000 hour –- CO in.
2030 hour --- M/8 to CO 358th Inf to fire heavy concentration on village at 313933 – S-3.
2033 hour --- M/9 to CO. Enemy pushing through Co G lines.
2120 hour -– G2 report to Div by courier.
2135 hour --- M/10 to CO, Co G lines secured. – CO 3d Bn.
2230 hour --- CO 358th Inf into CP.
2400 hour --- Estimated loss report to Div.
10 June 1944 0100 hour --- Still in vicinity of Chef-du-Pont.
0230 hour --- CO in from 2d Bn.
0330 hour --- 358th Inf advanced across causeway at 314930.
0400 hour --- Heavy Div artillery laid on enemy positions across bridge.
0430 hour --- Artillery laid a terrific barrage to cover 358th Inf crossing.
1640 hour --- S-2 report received from 2nd Bn.
1700 hour --- CO 1st Bn into CP.
1812 hour --- M/4 to Staff, Plan Report --- S-2
1920 hour --- M/5 to CO. Capture of Officer --- 1st Bn.
                   M/6 to Div. G-2-3-4 Reports --- S-2-3-4
2000 hour --- Hospital SO from various hospitals received, helped account for a lot of our men.
2100 hour --- List of men KIA sent to Mr. Hamelin for names of beneficiaries.
2200 hour --- Estimated loss report to G-1.
2400 hour --- Yellow flare observed at 232848.
2400 hour --- Weather clear; morale excellent; strength 1155.
11 June 1944 0745 hour --- Estimated loss report to Div. --- Captured 0; Killed 18; Missing 864; Wounded, evacuated 17; wounded not evacuated 0; prisoners 4; outlaws apprehended 0; strength 1165; date 10 June 1944.
