0730 hour --- Troops awakened.
0900 hour --- 3d Bn 1st Sgts into CP for check of jump rosters.  losses forthe3 20th totale3d 3 Off injured, 30 EM injured, 1 Off killed, 5 EM killed.
1000 hour --- CG into CP.
1020 hour --- CG out.
1100 hour --- Bn COs in meting with Regt CO and S-3.
1200 hour --- Many recommendations for awards and promotions received.  Information received from units not sufficient, much additional work required.
1350 hour --- M/1 to all Units.  Overlay -- S-3
1350 hour --- M/2 to CO.  List of all burials received. -- Div.
1400 hour --- M/3 to Div.  Overlay. -- S-3
1400 hour --- M/4 to Div.  G-04 Repot -- S-4
1430 hour --- 1st Sgts call -- morning reports.
1600 hour --- M/5 to S-2.  Strong point on road. -- Div.
1600 hour --- Art liaison officer in, checked in with S-3.
1630 hour --- M/6 to CO.  Officer sales store open at 400950. -- G-4
1630 hour --- M/7 to CO.  No firing of waypoints in rear areas. -- Corps.
1635 hour --- M/8 to Div.  Ordnance status report. -- CO
1840 hour --- M/9 to all Units.  Overlay.  -- CO
1840 hour --- Received word that the operation was called off 24 hours.
1945 hour --- Meeting with the CO og Bn Cos and Staff..
2030 hour --- Meeting over.
2100 hour --- Issue of 10 in 1 rations for tomorrow.
2200 hour --- Periodic reports to Div every other hour on the hour by Staff Duty Officer.
2300 hour --- Three reconnaissance patrols sent out of 15 me each.
2400 hour --- Weather and cold; morale superior; strength 1201.
22 June 1944 0730 hour --- Patrols arrived back safely, had encountered enemy resistance,
0930 hour --- Meeting of all Bn and Sep Unit commanders wit Regt CO.
1000 hour --- M/1 to CO.  Patrol Repot to div. -- CO
1010 hour --- M/2 to CO.  G2 Report. -- Div.
1030 hour --- M/3 to all Bns.  This report no crew served weapons carried. -- CO
1120 hour --- M/4 to all Units.  Notified of saluting wearing of the uniform and firing of weapons. -- CO
1130 hour --- 1st Bn up to their positions, dug in and returned to CP.
1150 hour --- M.5 to S-3, crew served weapons to be carried. -- 2d Bn
1200 hour --- CO 50p5 in, had dinner with CO.
1215 hour --- M/6 to all Units.  Request report of all captured and destroyed enemy ordinance.. -- S-2
1230 hour --- Request for a firing ping for a tommy gun to S-4 from 3d Bn.
1330 hour --- Overlays to all units.
1330 hour --- M/8 to all Units..  S-3 report -- S-3
1330 hour --- CO 505 out.
1355 hour --- Overlay of positions to be occupied. -- S-3
1400 hour --- Waves of bombers north, presumably to Cherbourg
1510 hour --- 1st Bn moved into new CP.
1520 hour --- 1st Bn CP 271891.
1600 hour --- Enemy firing over our CP.
1618 hour --- M/9 to CO.  Medical blotter. -- Med
1630 hour --- Div. artillery zeroed in on enemy by use of the plane.
1745 hour --- M/10 to G/22.  Located enemy guns at 229889 -- S-2
1800 hour --- Mission called off indefinitely but not cancelled.
1850 hour --- Periodic Report from 3d Bn.
2010 hour --- Rec plan from Div and passed down to units.
2215 hour --- Patrols cancelled.
2305 hour --- G-4 Report to Div.
2400 hour --- Weather clear,; morale excellent; strength 1201.
23 June 1944 0015 hour --- Estimated loss report to Div by phone.
0600 hour ----No change.
1000 hour --- Possibly move tonight at 1700.
1036 hour --- M/1 to Bns.  G-2 Periodic report. -- Div.
1100 hour --- 1st Sgts call for work on M/Rs and rosters..
