0645 hour --- Lt. Hager in from Div. Brought FO 8 revised and G-3 Report from Div. .
0800 hour --- Exec. to Div..
0800 hour --- Rained lightly all night, most of men do not have shelter halves.
0925 hour --- CO out.
1015 hour --- Gen Gavin into CP.
1015 hour --- Kt. Hager G-2 Report in from Div.
1040 hour --- Maj Todd, 319th FA out.
1040 hour --- Capt Simonds, S-3 and Bn in.
1045 hour --- CO 505 into CP.
1100 hour --- S-3 2d Bn out.
1118 hour --- Gen Gavin out.
1125 hour --- Mr. Lyche, ARC representative in.
1140 hour --- Exec Off, ed [sic] Bn in with Adj.
1245 hour --- CO 505 with CO for lunch.
1315 hour --- CO 505 out.
1420 hour --- CO and S-2 1st Bn in.
1334 hour --- Lt. Schwank and a Lt. Cmdr Brightsman into CP.
1500 hour --- Lt. Schwank and party left.
1500 hour --- S-3 notified sections to prepare to move some time after 1700 hour. New location of CP already pivked out by the Adj.
1500 hour --- No change.
1600 hour --- Lt. Moss still assisting Adj. on decoration.
1650 hour --- Notified to move 1830 hour.
1700 hour --- Exec in from Div.
1730 hour --- Adj forward to new CP.
1830 hour --- Troops departed area by foot to new CP.
1830 hour --- CP trucks, including ambulance, train moved forward.
1925 hour --- Trucks arrived at CP located at coordinates 238902,located in a woods road brely passable.
1930 hour --- CP established.
1940 hour --- CO into CP.
2015 hour --- Troops arrived in CP.
2050 hour --- Cuomo by telephone established.
2200 hour -- Everyone dug in.
2300 hour --- Enemy laying mortar fire in, short of CP.
2320 hour --- Our artillery fired back on enemy, enemy ceased firing.
2400 hour --- No change.

03 July 1944

0035 hour --- 1 platoon of TDs arrived in the CP.
0430 hour --- CO out.
0500 hour --- All troops alerted to move by 0730 hour.
0600 hour --- CO to 2d and 3d Bns.
0700 hour --- LaCortery taken by 2d and 3d Bns.
0740 hour --- Exec to 2d Bn.
0800 hour --- 2d and 3d Bns approaching Alpha line.
0815 hour --- CO 2d Bn injured, Regt Exec to take over.
0830 hour --- Raining hard since 9600 hr.
0900 hour --- 12 prisoners brought into PW, incl, interrogated by PW men.
0930 hour --- S-3 notified all personnel to move at 1000 hour.
1000 hour --- advance CP group out.
1025 hour --- Entire CP moved out on foot to new CP.
1100 hour --- Contacted advance party.
1140 hour --- Reached new CP location, but it [was] fired upon immediately by artillery so the CP was moved 100 yards to the rear.
1200 hour --- Regt Aid Station at 886226.
1215 hour --- Regt CP moving up, to follow behind the 1st Bn
1225 hour --- Halted waiting for 1st Bn.
1610 hour --- Established new CP.
1625 hour --- CO out to 2d Bn.
1635 hour --- CO 3d Bn in CP.
1650 hour --- S-4 to Rear Train.
1705 hour --- CO in.
1724 hour --- S-3 to all Bns.
1800 hour --- S-3 in.
1815 hour --- Gen Gavin in.
1825 hour --- Gen Gavin out.
1833 hour --- Prepared to move into cleared area originally assigned to 325th
