1205 hour --- A Bn combing to relieve this unit.
1300 hour --- Notified by Div that 508 was relieved from responsibility
of the area.
1400 hour --- Received notice from Div that this unit and all others
that took part in the initial attack on the continent had been awarded
he Unit citation for4 outstanding performances. All units notified
immediately.
1405 hour --- M/10 to all Bns. Your combat experiences can be
stated in your correspondence. -- S-2
1500 hour --- M/11 to all units. Report all captured equipment. --

0900 hour --- Motor column with equipment moved out.
1100 hour --- Trucks to take personnel arrived. Route through
Etienville to Le Bost and south.
1215 hour --- Detrucked at river, foot march to CP.
1230 hour --- CO to Div.
1230 hour --- Arrived at CP at Le Bost.
1249 hour --- CP established.
1300 hour --- 1st and 2d Bns in 3d Bn still in Div. reserve in the front
lines.
1400 hour --- Commo into Bns, 3d Bn can be contacted through 325th.
1500 hour --- CO in.
1500 hour --- M/1 to a;; units. Submit report weapons, kind and
ammo requisitions. -- S-4
1600 hour --- Extra rations and ammo received.
1700 hour --- Change of Regt. Exec Off. Lt. Col Harrison trfd to
Div Hq. Lt. Col. Alexander trfd fm 505 to this unit as Regt. Exec.
Transfer effective immediately.
1730 hour --- M/2 to CO. No civilians may enter or leave our lies.

1730 hour --- M/3 to 2e Bn. Submit Periodic Report daily as of

1730 hour --- M/4 to S-4. Div has 7 rocket launchers for us to be
picked up.-- Div.

1900 hour --- 3d Bn to be in CP and bivouac by 210130, losses reported
as heavy.
1900 hour --- M/5 to CO. S-2 Report -- S/2 1st Bn.
1900 hour --- M/6 to CO. Med Blotter. also Div. clearing station
open at 1800 hr this date. --Div.
2000 hour --- 505 into CP.
2200 hour --- Usual security maintained.
2400 hour --- Weather cold and windy; morale excellent; strength 1150.
2400 hour --- Orders received for a new mission; 82d to attack and take
Hill 131.
